Sample reports

Formats clients commission most often

These samples describe structure and tone for public sector reporting and community service analytics. Client figures are never shown publicly; the layouts below illustrate how a finished pack is organised.

Printed chart pages from a reporting pack

Annual programme reporting pack

Twelve to eighteen pages: executive narrative, indicator scorecard, trend charts with source footnotes, and a “questions we expect” page for the presenting officer. Suited to departments and statutory bodies with a fixed committee calendar.

Typical contents include reach and continuity measures, unit cost notes where the client already calculates them, and an annex listing definitions frozen at kick-off.

Colleagues reviewing a community outcome summary

Board outcome review

A shorter document for NGO boards: service-line summaries, retention charts, and a plain-language section on what the records cannot yet show. Designed to be read in one sitting before a quarterly meeting.

Short briefing visuals prepared for a council session

Council session leave-behind

Four to eight charts with spoken captions and a single folded leave-behind. Built for rooms where members skim under time pressure and ask definitional questions aloud.
