Extended note: closing a multi-centre grant
A community service provider operating three centres needed an end-of-grant evaluation summary before the funder’s mid-autumn deadline. Activity logs used different attendance codes at each site. Tool Springhub mapped codes to a shared glossary, dropped two indicators that could not be aligned, and produced a twenty-page summary with a methods annex listing every exclusion.
The funder accepted the summary without requesting a rewrite. The organisation kept the glossary for the next cycle so future extracts would match. Work ran five weeks including one on-site afternoon at Technology Plaza to reconcile disputed weeks of attendance.
Extended note: committee pack under privacy limits
A district office required a public sector reporting pack on youth outreach but could not disclose site-level headcounts. We redesigned charts around ranges and district aggregates, added a privacy note in the annex, and prepared a closed-session addendum for members only. The open pack stayed within disclosure rules while still showing trend direction across four quarters.
